The Dish café is an exceptional restaurant located at the base of the world famous Parkes DISH. It features a 2-storey glass outlook allowing for uninterrupted views of the Radio Telescope as it tunes into the universe. Only 20kms north of Parkes and just off the Newell Highway in the NSW Central West, you can experience freshly prepared meals and sample locally made produce in the tranquil surrounds. A CSIRO native tree cordon ensures kangaroos and bird species abundant. Finding us.

Services
The café is open 7 days from 8.30 to 4.15 every day except Christmas and Boxing Days. Our all day menu offers a selection of freshly prepared meals including our signature dishes which are baked daily; beef and red wine pies and scones with blackberry jam. There is also a selection of burgers, wraps, melts, soups, salads and thickly cut sandwiches. The blackboard special is a Tasting plate highlighting local produce. Relax with a cappuccino as the Dish scans the skies or perhaps try a glass of wine from the local region in our fully licensed restaurant. An assortment of Dish-made jams, chutneys, dressings and relishes make a great edible memento and are available on site or by contacting us. The restaurant is presently serving 5-course wine matched menus with intuitive service for booked evenings and functions. Dish Café provides an exceptional catering service and some catering equipment is available for hire for your local event.
